Need Help Fast? Call InfoSystems

Brainerd Baptist Church looks to InfoSystems for the technical expertise and professionalism to resolve problems quickly.

Server failure is bad news for any organization, and Brainerd Baptist Church is no exception. When the organization’s server crashed recently, IT Manager Bradley Chambers knew he needed expert help fast. That’s why he called InfoSystems.

“When our server went down on a Monday night I knew immediately it would be a long, involved process. I called the InfoSystems dispatch line and got a call back in about 10 minutes. The technician showed up in half an hour,” said Chambers. “He worked until 4 a.m., came back later that day and worked another 12 or 13 hours, then came back the next day and worked another eight hours until he finally got it back up and running.

“I suspect that a lot of technicians would have given up, or at least have required a week to resolve the problem during regular business hours. The InfoSystems technician worked tirelessly. He treated our problem as if it were his problem and stayed with it until it was resolved.”

Help When Needed
Brainerd Baptist Church has had a long relationship with InfoSystems. The church relies upon InfoSystems for Tier 2 support and assistance with a wide range of projects.
Because Chambers is a one-person IT shop, ready access to expert support is essential.
“We’ve used InfoSystems for years in a variety of roles. In fact, the technician who resolved our server problem has worked with us since before I came on board. He knows our building like the back of his hand and is very familiar with our systems,” Chambers said. “I’m the only IT guy so there’s only so much that we can do internally. We look to InfoSystems to provide assistance for projects that are outside of our regular scope.”

InfoSystems is as prompt and diligent when it comes to project-based work as it is with technical support issues. InfoSystems works hard to complete projects on time and within budget, and with minimal impact on day-to-day operations.

“The InfoSystems team has always been able to come out and get things done quickly. You can tell they’re not just standing around trying to waste time in order to rack up more hours. They’re here to get the job done and get it done well, and when that happens everybody is happy,” Chambers said.

Sound Advice
Brainerd Baptist also relies upon InfoSystems for sound advice when it comes to making upgrades or purchasing new equipment. The church knows that InfoSystems will give an honest opinion.

“InfoSystems is a great company for us to work with because we’re a midsize organization. Some of the other technology providers in town might think we’re too small to work with,” Chambers said. “InfoSystems is also a good match for us in terms of resources. They’re big enough to know what they’re doing, but small enough to understand our needs.”
Brainerd Baptist Church began with 96 people under a tent more than 80 years ago. The organization has grown and evolved over the years and now uses technology to support its operations and many areas of its ministry.

“It’s great to have somebody who’s just a phone call away, who knows your network, is very professional and always does a fantastic job,” Chambers said. “Although we don’t like to have downtime, it’s just going to happen. We’re very happy with how InfoSystems is able to respond to our needs.”
